It is produced in Tuscany by the Italian manufacturer Mabel. In the northern region of Italy, Trentino-Alto Adige is famous for its apple trees and the juice industry. Mabel uses the before-thrown-away discards of that industry, pulverizes, and then naturally dries them into powder. This powder is then combined with a polyurethane paste after drying again. The result is extraordinary. The apple #leather has a luxurious feel and is completely vegan. It does not crease like natural leather, is water-resistant, and extremely durable. The Italian apple leather is our signature material and the main material of our Waver #sneaker.

This yarn is buttery smooth and comes with tons of benefits. It is antibacterial and therefore keeps you fresh and odor-free. It transports moisture and is powerfully insulating meaning it keeps you cooler in summer and warmer in winter. All that makes it the perfect choice for our inner lining.
